Břevnov Monastery (Czech: Břevnovský klášter, German: Stift Breunau) is a Benedictine archabbey in the Břevnov district of Prague, Czech Republic. It was founded by Saint Adalbert, the second Bishop of Prague, in 993 AD with the support of Duke Boleslav II of Bohemia. The first Benedictine male monastery in Bohemia, it also has the oldest tradition of beer brewing in the Czech Republic. Brewing was interrupted several times in the history, but up to today, the Břevnov Monastery Brewery brew its beer here.

Děčín Zoo, is a Czech zoo, located in Děčín in Czech Republic.
Děčín Zoo was founded in 1948, when only four zoological parks existed in Czechoslovakia. The zoo in opened its gates in 1949, through Ludvík Grác, a local Podmokly businessperson and zoological specialist and a group of animal enthusiasts. Ludvík Grác became the first director, a title he kept until 1966. The present director is Kateřina Majerová. In 2014 the zoo kept some 400 animals of over 150 species, among them rare species not encountered elsewhere in Czech Republic.

Hi guys.....
Houska Castle is an early Gothic castle, 47 kilometres (29 mi) north of Prague, in Czechia (Houska 1, 471 62 Doksy). It is one of the best preserved castles of the period. Notable features include a predominantly gothic chapel, green chamber with late-gothic paintings, and knight's drawing room.
Folklore considers that castle to cover one of the gateways to hell, built to prevent demons (trapped in lower levels) from reaching the world.

Křivoklát was founded in the 12th century, belonging to the kings of Bohemia. During the reign of Přemysl Otakar II a large, monumental royal castle was built, later rebuilt by king Václav IV and later enlarged by king Vladislav of Jagellon.
The castle was damaged by fire several times. It was turned into a harsh prison and the building slowly deteriorated. During the 19th century, the family of Fürstenberg became the owners of the castle and had it reconstructed after a fire in 1826.
Today the castle serves as a museum, tourist destination, and place for theatrical exhibitions. Collections of hunting weapons, Gothic paintings, and books are stored there.
The village of Křivoklát, founded in the 14th century, grew slowly below the castle.

The first documented reference to the town is from 1207, referring to the older name Hrabišín. The name of Duchcov is first mentioned in 1240. A brewery was established in 1675.
Until 1918, Dux (bilingual names Dux – Duchov at the end of the 19th century) was part of the Austrian monarchy (Austria side after the compromise of 1867), head of the district with the same name, one of the 94 Bezirkshauptmannschaften in Bohemia.
A post-office was opened in July 1857.
In 1918, Duchcov became a part of independent Czechoslovakia. In 1938, as a result of the Munich Agreement, the town was ceded to Nazi Germany as one of the municipalities in Sudetenland. It was placed until 1945 under the administration of the Regierungsbezirk Aussig of Reichsgau Sudetenland. In May 1945, after the liberation of Czechoslovakia, Duchcov returned under Czechoslovak administration. The Sudeten German population was expelled in 1945 (further to the Beneš decrees) and replaced by Czech settlers.

Koněprusy Caves (Czech: Koněpruské jeskyně) is a cave system in the heart of the limestone region known as Bohemian Karst, Czech Republic. It is located southwest of Prague, 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) south of Beroun in the Central Bohemian Region. The name derives from the nearby village of Koněprusy. With a length of 2 km (1.2 mi) and a vertical range of 70 m (230 ft), it is the largest cave system in Bohemia.

Vyšehrad (Czech for "upper castle") is a historic fort in Prague, Czech Republic, just over 3 km southeast of Prague Castle, on the east bank of the Vltava River. It was probably built in the 10th century. Inside the fort is the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul and the Vyšehrad Cemetery, containing the remains of many famous Czechs, such as Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana, Karel Čapek, and Alphonse Mucha. It also contains Prague's oldest Rotunda of St. Martin, from the 11th century.

Hi guys.....
Lavandula (common name lavender) is a genus of 47 known species of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae. It is native to the Old World and is found in Cape Verde and the Canary Islands, and from Europe across to northern and eastern Africa, the Mediterranean, southwest Asia to southeast India.
Many members of the genus are cultivated extensively in temperate climates as ornamental plants for garden and landscape use, for use as culinary herbs, and also commercially for the extraction of essential oils. The most widely cultivated species, Lavandula angustifolia, is often referred to as lavender, and there is a color named for the shade of the flowers of this species. Despite its use over centuries in traditional medicine and cosmetics, there is no high-quality clinical evidence that lavender has any effects on diseases or improves health.

This is a beautiful place to go visit.
The first written mention of the mill dates from 1573. It was a three-wheel mill, with two wheels driven by a grinding device and a third saw. From 1696 to 1910, the mill was the property of the Pohl family. They rebuilt it several times, in 1727 in the Baroque style, later in 1819 and 1845.
Due to the fact that Kamenice was used for rafting wood, the owners could not drain the water into the drive during this period and therefore could not grind. This was compensated to the owners by the right to produce beer and brandy. The surroundings of Dolský mlýn also came to life with tourism after the transport of boats in Ferdinand's gorge between Srbská Kamenice and Dolský mlýn was started in 1881.
The mill was abandoned after 1945 and has been falling into disrepair ever since. The building is just a torso of the perimeter walls. After the other buildings, only the foundations remained. The mill can be seen in its functional form in the fairy tale The Proud Princess, where there is a shot of the entire building and the drive. Later, he appeared in a very dilapidated form in a number of other films such as Hell with a Princess, The Lost Prince, The Devil's Bride, The True Knight.

Hi guys.....
Here is another interesting project. I left the second hanger with only one coat of white chalk paint to make it look a little bit different than the first one. I am very satisfied with how it turned out. I did not hang anything on them for now. Actually I did hang them on the wall into a big carved picture frame which does not have canvas and it is painted the same way as well, so they are just floating there. Small Altered Luggage #2 from Ivanka's little treasures
Hi guys.....
Here is one project I have to show you. This luggage was actually made for one woman, who saw the items I make and sell on Facebook. She loved the luggage I altered for myself. She called me if I can make her small luggage look cool as well. So, I did. She wanted me to make another one after that and I was very happy with what I created (name of the video of the second luggage design here: Small Altered Luggage #1 from Ivanka's little treasures).
