Hello everyone...
The Great Lakes Aquarium opened in 2000 and is located on the Duluth waterfront. A freshwater aquarium, its mission is to inspire people to explore their connection to Lake Superior and waters of the world. Great Lakes Aquarium features animals and habitats found within the Great Lakes basin and other freshwater ecosystems such as the Amazon River. The Aquarium houses 205 different species of fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals. It is one of few aquariums in the United States that focuses on freshwater exhibits.
Many of the main exhibits at 62,000-square-foot (5,800 m2) Great Lakes Aquarium (GLA) are based upon actual habitats in the Lake Superior basin. "Slices" of the Saint Louis River, Baptism River, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Kakagon Slough, Isle Royale and Otter Cove can all be viewed up close.

Hello everyone...
Offering modern-style rooms and a restaurant, Hotel Port Doksy enjoys a location at the Mácha Lake. A private sandy lakeshore, 2 swimming pools and several sports facilities are featured. The wellness centre includes a sauna and a hot tub.
Each room is spacious and comes with carpeted floors, satellite TV and a minibar. The private bathroom has a bath or shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. A room with a balcony is available upon request and for a surcharge.
Samples of Czech cuisine are served at the hotel’s restaurant, as well as international and fish specialties.
The complex comprises a heated outdoor pool, an indoor pool and 2 bowling lanes, as well as tennis, mini golf and beach volleyball courts. Front desk offers possibilities for renting bikes, as well as rowboats and pedal boats for use at the lake.
A fitness center is available at the hotel. There is also a massage center with professionally trained employees. Private parking is available on site free of charge.
Doksy Train Stop is 2,300 feet away. Lemberk Castle is 21.7 miles away, while Bezděz Castle is at a distance of 7.5 miles. The town of Česká Lípa is at a distance of 19 km, while Prague is 49.7 miles to the south from Port Doksy.

Hello everyone...
The Kenosha North Pier lighthouse or Kenosha Light is a lighthouse located near Kenosha in Kenosha County, Wisconsin.
"A typical 'Lake Michigan red tower'", it is a sibling to the Milwaukee Pierhead Light. This light was built in 1906 as a replacement for the old Kenosha Light.
The station was established in 1856. This pierhead light is one of a succession of lighthouses in this location, which were needed as the structures were destroyed by natural processes, or became obsolete as the piers were greatly extended.
Located on the north pier, it is listed in the United States Coast Guard light list and the United States Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System as the Kenosha Light. It currently is painted red, but the lighthouse also has been painted white in the past. The adjacent south pier and breakwater also had lighthouses, but now have cylindrical navigational lights. These included fog signal buildings and elevated iron catwalks, all of which have been removed.
In June 2008, the Kenosha Pierhead Lighthouse was deemed "excess" by the Coast Guard. Pursuant to the National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act of 2000, it was offered at no cost to eligible entities, including federal, state and local agencies, non-profit corporations, educational agencies, or community development organizations. A deadline of July 21 was created for qualified organizations to express interest. At this time, no organization came forward.
In 2011, the excess property was put up for auction and was purchased by John Burhani and Heather McGee. The lighthouse is currently being used as an art studio and gallery as its name now conveys; Kenosha Lighthouse Studio. Art shows, open to the public, can be found on the kenoshalighthousestudio.com website. The Kenosha Lighthouse Studio is open for individual dinners/meetings and other events.

Shedd Aquarium (formally the John G. Shedd Aquarium) is an indoor public aquarium in Chicago, Illinois in the United States that opened on May 30, 1930. The aquarium contains 32,000 animals, and was for some time the largest indoor aquarium in the world with 5,000,000 US gallons (19,000,000 l; 4,200,000 imp gal) of water. Shedd Aquarium was the first inland aquarium with a permanent saltwater fish collection. Located on Lake Michigan, it is surrounded by Museum Campus Chicago, which it shares with the Adler Planetarium and the Field Museum of Natural History. In 2015, the aquarium had 2.02 million annual visitors; it was the most visited aquarium in the U.S. in 2005, and in 2007, it surpassed the Field Museum as the most popular cultural attraction in Chicago. It contains 1500 species including fish, marine mammals, birds, snakes, amphibians, and insects. The aquarium received awards for best exhibit from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) for Seahorse Symphony in 1999, Amazon Rising in 2001, and Wild Reef in 2004.

Lake Geneva is a resort city on Geneva Lake in southeastern Wisconsin. The lakeside Shore Path is dotted with Gilded Age mansions, many built by wealthy Chicagoans. Nearby, the 19th-century Black Point Estate and Gardens was the summer home of Chicago beer magnate Conrad Seipp. The Queen Anne–style house has Victorian furnishings. Local beaches include Big Foot Beach State Park, which has trails and picnic areas.

Hello everyone...
Botanická zahrada Univerzity Karlovy je jedna ze tří významných botanických zahrad v Praze. Byla založena Josefem Bohumírem Mikanem roku 1775 na Smíchově. Po povodni roku 1890 byla univerzitní botanická zahrada přemístěna na Nové Město, kde pražské univerzity odkoupily od České společností pro zvelebování zahradnictví v Praze zahradu budovanou od roku 1845. Dnešním vlastníkem je Přírodovědecká fakulta Univerzity Karlovy.
Zahrada má rozlohu 3,5 ha. Ročně ji navštíví asi 100 000 návštěvníků. O zahradu pečuje přibližně 20 zahradníků a kurátorů. Roční náklady na provoz, hrazené Přírodovědeckou fakultou UK, se pohybují kolem 6 milionů Kč. Na provoz a údržbu přispívá i hlavní město Praha. Podle zahrady se jmenuje blízká tramvajová zastávka Botanická zahrada na trati směřující do Nuselského údolí.

Holy Hill National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians is a Roman Catholic shrine dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The centerpiece of the shrine is a minor basilica. It is located in the town of Erin, near Hubertus, Wisconsin, in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The shrine has approximately 300,000 visitors per year.

Cave of the Mounds, a natural limestone cave located near Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, United States, is named for two nearby hills called the Blue Mounds. It is located at the southern slope of the east hill. The cave's beauty comes from its many varieties of mineral formations called speleothems. The Chicago Academy of Sciences considers the Cave of the Mounds to be "the significant cave of the upper Midwest" because of its beauty, and it is promoted as the "jewel box" of major American caves. In 1987, the United States Department of the Interior and the National Park Service designated the cave as a National Natural Landmark.
